Starting at 6 a.m., all streets from E., 4th St. to W. 4th St. between 1st Ave. and N 2nd.A ve. will be closed. **Parking in private business lots is not permitted Parade Grand Marshals David & Liz Dodd David and Liz Dodd have served the community for 50 years through their business Dodd's Trash Hauling & Recycling. The Dodd's brought the first recycling company to Newton, but they are most known for their acts of kindness and volunteerism. Liz has served as a chairwoman for RAGBRAI, a St. Nick's volunteer and board member, and as a Meals on Wheels volunteer. Liz also served as the Chamber of Commerce Board Chair in 2009 to 2010, and she was the recipient of the 2010 Friends of Education Award. Liz also received the Friends of the Fair award in 2015. The Dodd's are consistent volunteers for Red Pride Service Days and work daily to make Newton a better place.
