IOWA RURAL WATER ASSOCIATION The lowa Rural Water Association is seeking applicants for the position of Chief Financial Officer. This position is based in Newton. Responsibilities include: maintaining complete and accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and federal and state reporting, budgeting and serving as a liaison with the Association's audit firm; prepare and present financial reports to the Association's Board of Directors and Membership; provide financial services to the Association's political action committee and charitable foundation; oversee human resource activities and employee benefits program; and provide support for Association conferences and events. Ideal candidate should have accounting education and experience; a degree in accounting or business is preferred. Qualified candidates must have computer skills necessary to complete the job - specifically proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Quick Books or similar software.
